"One of the best way to test your bunnyhops skills is to make sure that your able to bunnyhop over an object basically this is where that 3 part bunnyhop becomes very important as I was talking about earlier. Again here we have a water bottle and basically like I said before you want to make sure that your not bunnyhopping like this, you want to make sure that your doing a good 3 part bunnyhop cause you don't have to travel nearly as far. The keys to bunnyhopping over an object are making sure that you gage your speed properly much a lot of things in BMX. Because you don't want to go bunnyhop over something a travel to slow and hit it, cause especially if your dealing with a big e mobile object that can end up pretty badly pretty quickly. Another big component of that is making sure that you have the adequate height on your bunnyhop. Especially when your doing bunnyhops over something new thats a little bit scary it's really easy to make sure you know you get side track thinking about some of the things that can go wrong. And it can really be easy to not pick up your front end high enough or you know even if you do get your front end high enough you don't get adequate pop with your back end. And so the main thing to do is just to keep your mind set undoing a good bunnyhop you know having good form with all that. And keep looking ahead basically get up to the object make sure your going fast enough cause usually if you bunnyhopping over something unless your bunnyhopping into a mode or something. You generally want to make sure that your going to fast instead of to slow cause if you go to slow and you back wheel hits that object your front end will drop and go over the handle bars and usually it's not a pretty sight. So basically gage your speed get your front end high enough cause that's a big step one and make sure that you get a good solid pop off the back wheel. Get your back wheel over the object and then make sure when you land usually a little bit back wheel first nice and relax keep looking ahead and you got it."
