"The basic concept with a bunny hop is propelling yourself off the ground on a bicycle it's really not complicated in theory. However in practice it's not so simple a bunny hop is really a multi part motion where it starts off essentially picking up your front wheel off the ground and then tucking with your legs and hopping to propel the back end off the ground. That 3 part motion right there is really necessary to obtaining a high vertical hop and also is really going to be essential when you start going fast attempting to jump gaps trying to jump tricks into like grinds. And basically you want to make sure that your you have the general concepts of a bunny hop down really well because once you start getting into a lot of more difficult maneuvers. If you don't it's really going to be almost if not completely impossible to do a lot of them. A lot of people do attempt to do a bunny hop this way, you don't want to do it that way and I'll explain why."
