"This Sankyo will be against a hook punch, also known as yokimunichi. As Daniel comes in, I want to bleed the energy off this just slightly, I'm actually going to reverse the motion. So as he comes in, I'm here and I bleed it off. But I want to give him a little shot here to open him up, and then I want to circle back underneath him. As I do that, I'm gaining control of the wrist, right at the top of the Sankyo to begin with. So once again I've got the beginning of the Sankyo long before I'm here in the "official" Sankyo position. Now my second hand, my at side hand can come up underneath to shake the hand, compress it , squeeze it nice and snug, lead the elbow, down into the ground, for a good tight finish. We'll look at that again. I'm going to bleed the energy off, give him a little shot, as you can see his balance is already starting to go. I bled here, I'm going to give him a little shot, I use this hand to start hooking the technique. Now I can pretty easily slip through this open doorway, and bring him around to me. And as he comes around, as he comes into this wrist, it starts to get tighter and tighter. I'm actually starting to do Sankyo, before he even gets around. And the hand here will come in, nice and snug, keep it tight, now let's cut that elbow down and to the ground. Right here. Once again we finish with a nice, tight controlled spiral. That is Sankyo, against a hook strike, Yokimunichi."
