"This Kubishimi, or choke, we're going to do from another dynamic attack, the strike, a hook strike to the side of the head. This time I want to redirect this, I want to come up and make a good protective frame. As always, don't be afraid of getting your hands up, protect yourself, you know there's an attack coming, get your hands up. As I come here however, I'm going to blend with it slightly, and then I'm going to cut it down. And as I do that, you see Daniel's head's exposed once again. Here I come in behind it, punch the kidney down, so I can get good exposure to the neck, press in with the head, and squeeze right here. It's obviously a timing issue. I don't want to, here, and do this. You have to learn to practice the flow of the technique. Just as if you're trying to sweep it away. Daniel comes in, I'm going to sweep it away. And as I do, the head is exposed, here I am. I have him leaned back, because I want his balance on me. I want him relying on me for balance. And then it's easier to do the choke. The quicker he regains the balance, the quicker he regains his mind. For intents and purposes, you're stealing the mind, you're controlling the mind. He is now behind the curve in the technique, he's panicking from being choked, and he's out of center. So from here, come in to the choke. That is Kubishimi, a choking technique, from a hook strike, Yokimunuchi."
