"A wrist control that we can use from a hooking attack, will take us to the outside this time. This motion is very, very similar obviously. It's identical to everything else we've been passing to the outside. It's because it's effective. I'm here, I'm moving to the outside. As it comes, I want to now reverse that motion. I create a structure to deflect him away. He's not simply going to follow that, he's going to turn back in to try and get it. As he returns back to me, I follow that motion. I have his wrist in control now, and I'll drop him down to the ground. I'm here, catch it, and back we go. Notice I use my entire body to make that happen. I'm here, it glances off, I lock my hands up, and my entire body does the technique. Avoid letting your hands, or your upper body take control of the event. If the attacker is very large, very powerful, or very determined, you're going to have a very difficult time muscling him to the ground. Always use your entire body, to make it happen. Let's do that one more time. I blend, and off we go. And that's a good hooking disarm, excuse me, outside wrist control, from a hooking attack."
