"A technique for dealing with a hooking attack from the inside is a Parry, control them, we're going to do a disarm on this as well. So I'm blending with that, I want to get a good control here, be cautious of the blade, don't let your forearm get into it, keep yourself framed up. I'm here, I'm framed up nice and tight, I want to attack that forearm once again and striking down on it, as I do that, I cause a natural flinch in the shoulder and it can cause a natural flinch in the fingers, a little difficult to see but it cause a slight opening here. As Daniel comes in now, I'm striking that in here, as I'm doing this, and that's easily start the knife to come free. So I'm blending with it, being careful of this, striking down on the wrist as I grab it and cut down deep into the forearm. A nice sticky energy, don't simply punch it and bounce off because you're losing all of your energy. Whenever, it's like we're trying to shock somebody, I don't just want to shock them, I want the energy to be dumped deep into their body. So I'm here, both hands are tapping, I come in here and control those and drive it down and through. Let's do it one time, here we go. Boom, just like that. Hit it like you mean to, stick to it and gain control. That's a good, nice disarm from a Hooking Attack."
