"Hello! I’m Francisco Escudero here in Miami, Florida, and we’re learning the basics on wakeboarding. If you want to learn about it, go to www.skybanditz.com. First thing you want to do is wherever you go and learn your water sport, particularly wakeboarding, you want to go for a certified school. They got to have good equipment, nice boats, and good coaches to help you from your first beginner levels to progress into the more advanced levels. The good thing about wakeboarding is it’s basically a stepping stone to a lot of other sports; either water sports or other land sports. For example, if you take it to the snow, it’ll be snowboarding. By learning wakeboarding, you can kind of start to get the basics of what snowboarding would be. On the beach it can be skimboarding or similar to surfing. The other things too on the wind aspect of things, kite boarding is a newer sport and it’s basically very similar to wakeboarding, just with an inflatable kite. So then, the other things that we want to look for in wakeboards are there are very different kinds of bottoms. Right now in this one, it’s kind of hard to tell, but it has this concave to it, so it’s got a little concave to it. That just gives it better turning speed. "
