"Hi this is Eric Sterns with Expert Village. We are talking about signaling and right now we are going to go over flashlights for the use of flashlights. There are quite a variety of flashlights that you can buy. These are very inexpensive ones. In addition to helping you find your way around camp or finding your way around your car they can also be used for signaling. They should be used as sparingly as possible. You are going to want to wait for this when you see someone coming when someone in another vehicle is approaching. Again there is three elongated pulses from the flashlight just like it might be three blasts of the horn or blowing the whistle three times. So with a flashlight you are going to point it at the vehicle and simply hit it three times. If the vehicle is coming at you from a considerable distance you might want to do it several times to catch his assistance so he will knows that you are over there doing it intentionally and it is not some type of automated light system or something on a pole far off at a distance. That is pretty important. You want to make sure to use every tool at your disposal to get someone to see you so that you can get assistance as quickly as possible. "
