"Okay, so now I'm going to bridge the gap and I'm going to go a little closer. Skip the major and the medium range and go right to corto range. This is close range. Okay? And you're going to see, I'm going to add some different hits. Some of them being called corto curbata, which is curving strikes. Okay? Just to kind of go over and give you a brief display of some other options. And Robert right here, he's just being cooperative because usually right now, if I had if I had equipment on, he could be doing the same thing, trying to hit me, okay, and trying to disarm. Okay? So, right here, this is what I start right here. Okay? And I'm just going to add some combinations of hits. See? Yes, you see. Just like this. Good. Yes, you see? Reality, yes. He'd be trying to grab my hand, trying to get the weapon hand. Okay? Just remember, without armor, I'd be hitting him the whole time while holding his weapon. Okay? Like this. Yes, you see? If I get his stick, I can actually go for a disarm too. There's many different types of disarms that you can do. I'm not going to get into that right now. Okay? But right now, I'm just showing you some basic combinations with the stick. Okay? Right now, I'm very close. I could actually still turn and use my linear strike still or my circular strikes up close. Okay? You see? Okay? This stick is going, yes. Okay? You see? Just like that. Yes, you see? He tries to grab I monitor that hand. Just like that. So I want to be, a lot of the hits I'm using they're called abaniko, like a fan motion and I'm trying to move fast. Okay? I'm trying to move my stick, keep it mobile, keep it moving so he can't grab it. Because as soon as I slow it down like that, he can grab my wrist or my stick. There's different ways to get out of that too. But if I keep it moving, it's very hard for him. At the same time he's trying to grab my stick, he's getting hit. So right now he can take it because he has equipment on, but in reality if I'm hitting his hand or his head, it would only take a couple shots. Okay? So this is just a brief demonstration into the corto range, closer range. Okay? A lot of styles specialize in that. Okay? And then, basically, what I'm trying actually to show you is more of the largo mano striking, but I just want to give you just a brief view of other stuff available out there. Okay? Especially the different ranges and that would be in the close range."
