Video Transcript

" This is Don Daly representing expertvillage.com and in this clip we are going to demonstrate a low guard pass. We are here in the guard position. I want to pass his guard. So hands are in the chest, get him lock down, get hold of the belt, okay elbows in tight. I want to break his legs open so I got to push, I break his legs open here. If his leg is low I am going to keep it low, I am just going to keep pinning it down. So I am using my elbow to pin his knee down. Okay we got it down here, same leg on the same side comes over his knee. Keep the knee on one side, foot on the other, he cannot pull his leg up. If I forget, I come over and I leave this leg loose, he is going to trap my other leg okay so we need to what we need to do is come over, keep it trapped, after the leg is trapped here I am going to come over his head with my elbow and I plant it here okay chest to chest, now I can let go his belt, let go here. I am going to lift his leg out, so we step out big, step here, this knee comes out, this knee goes in the hip, we have side control. Okay so again we break legs open, here I will have to pin a leg, I use my elbow to pin, push my weight, give my weight on his leg, he cannot lift his leg up, after I do that I ski across here, trap the knee here, let go the belt, come across here, planting my elbow on the side of his face, chest to chest, I lift this leg out, step out, let this leg go, quickly bring my knee to his hip side control."
