"Hi! This is Don Daly representing expertvillage.com, and in this clip, we’re going to show the guillotine choke from standing position. Okay, squared off with our opponent. He decides he wants to come in and shoot at me. When he comes in and shooting, he’s putting his head in a bad position. So when we comes in, I’m looking for his head to come down. When his head comes down, I meet him half way. Pushing his head down, putting my armpit on top of his head, bringing this arm all they way underneath right up under his neck. Taking this arm, coming under this way, and when we grab the wrist, grab your own wrist this way holding tight with both arms. Okay, so he comes in. I help him come in. I come over the top, come under the neck here. You want to come under, grab your own wrist. We step the back leg in, create more pressure. We lift and he chokes. So he comes in, he shoots, I help him in. I meet him half way on top. We don’t want to miss the head. Okay, if we’re here, he’s going to pop his head straight up and we miss it. Okay, but if he comes in and I get him right up on top of the neck. We come under here. Again, we grab the wrist like so. Under here, make sure not to get the arm caught in. If you get the arm caught in he won’t choke. Goes on this side of his head. Taking our back foot, step in, lift the whole body up to choke. If I have him here and he’s fighting with me, he’s pulling my arms, and I can’t choke him, we’re going to pull guards. So we fall back into guards still holding the choke. Guard on, push and pull all the way and he chokes. "
