Thanks Dmitri but just one question. In my opinion, although the move is called "Backward Crossovers" the front foot does not really crossover. The front foot is placed in line with the right foot. Since the right foot is stroking on an outside edge it appears that the left foot is crossing over. Many skaters I have seen learning this manoevre are mislead by the term "crossover" and this is made worse if they ignore the advice to "look backwards" which helps put the hips in the correct location.

Why you are saying that this guy is no good?! First of all, before judging his English, you should have at least some intelligence and don't say: "this guy", because "this guy" has a name, and his name is Mr. Olympiev. Secondly, you can't judge this coach just by looking at these video clips. All these video clips helped my cousin, and helped a lot, even her coach were so surprised. I want to thank you Mr. Olympiev for sharing these lessons with other people, and your English is excellent, you explaining very clear and very professional. Thank you so much!

What is the PSA some kind of strong-arming union? If this guy wants to make a video about how to do backward crossovers why shouldn't he? I can understand him just fine and I didn't have to drive to Florida to get a lesson. Instead I can watch for 2 minutes and then go practice by myself. And he puts a little ad in for his rink, fair enough.
