"Hi this is David Duke. Welcome to Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to talk about unloading the hand glider. Unloading the hand glider is as simple as undoing that strap and the back strap and the middle strap if you've got it and lifting the hand glider off onto your shoulder. It balances about at the middle point right where those handle straps are. Most of the bags are built to balance the glider right on your shoulder right there and it doesn't weight much. This one's about forty five pounds. Surprisingly the more advanced glider you get the heavier it gets actually, so the better the glider it is, the faster it is, etc. The more of an advanced design the heavier it is. This is a beginner glider it weighs about forty five pounds. My pro glider weighs about seventy pounds and many times I don't feel like lifting it up myself and hoisting it on that rack and so I get somebody else to help me. Or I stand at one end and lift it up and then get under it etc. But often my wife who's also a hand glider pilot helps me out and we load each other's gliders and unload them."
