" Hi! I am Dave Shelton explaining Frisbee for Expert Village.com. Welcome back! Okay you guys are experts and pros at all the other throws now. Great, now we can get a little tricky. Let’s go and do something just for you. These are shots that are just primarily and throws that are just primarily for you and for your friends. You can show off if are really good at it, but you want to make sure you do it right. One of my favorite trick shots is behind the back throw, and it is normally not used in competition or Frisbee golf, but when you are playing with your friends it makes you look really cool if you could do it successfully and it is lot of fun and it is really not that difficult. You grip your Frisbee the same way you did for the front basic throw except this time you are going to come around your back with it and throw it off the side. Now the important thing to know about this throw, is that you have to get the enough momentum on your back swing, when you move it around your body or you are going to loose the grip on it, and it is going to hit your back, it is going to hit your leg, lot of times it won’t even go off the ground and you are not going to get the appropriate throw. I will demonstrate and this is how it goes, bend forward, nice grip, just like that, Remember it is important that you get the momentum of your arm going around, so that you can release it very quickly and just like the release of the front throw you release it very quickly once you get your arm around. Let me show you; as simple as that. Remember again the important thing is the momentum, you want to get the throw off very quickly and you want to your arm propel around very quickly like the back swing of a golfer. When he follows through, that is a very quick speed; you want to do the same thing with your Frisbee. Let’s do it again. Grip it like this around the body and release, very simple. "
