" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to tie a bowline on a bight. It is name so because instead of tying it in a single strand you tie it in a loop or a bight of rope. Begin by forming a simple over hand knot with your bight. Take the loop and flip it over the entire knot and pull what would have been the bottom of the loop. You would end up with two very secure fixed loops, which are quite easy to untie as you could feed their ends up through. I will tie it one more time. Have your bight, make a simple over hand knot, if you want one loop to be bigger then the other before tighten it adjust the loop accordingly this is good when you need to attach to lines to one as in a sheet on a boat. It is quiet simple to tie and as said quiet simple to untie and that is the bowline on a bight. "
