" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to tie a sheet bend. Which is useful for tyeing two lines together especially if they are a unequal diameter. In the thicker line make a bight or small loop. Take your thinner line and feed up through the loop. Wrap it around behind the bight and cross under itself and pull it out. It is a very simple knot but yet very strong. If you need a little bit of extra protection if your anchor is going to be attach to this you might want to tie a double sheet bend. I'm going to show you that to. Repeat the steps of the first make a bight, go up, around, cross underneath, and then for the double sheet bend just take a second turn pull in opposing direction and there you have it a sheet bend and a double sheet bend."
