" Hi! My name is Dan, and I’m here with Expert Village today to talk about how to tie a clove hitch. If you want to tie a clove hitch, and you can’t get to the end of your rope or a board that you may be tying the clove hitch around, this is how you tie it. You take a turn around whatever you’re tying it on, then cross over it and take another turn and feed your tail in so that it’s running parallel with your first loop. You’ll know you tied it correctly if your ends are coming out in two different sides. I’ll tie it one more time. Take a turn, cross over and take another turn, feed the end through, again both sides are running opposing to each other, and that is a clove hitch."
