" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make an eye splice in a three strand braided rope. Repeat with your third strand and this is where it gets a little tricky. Now you need to look and follow an over and under pattern using only each strand once as you go around. So I'm going over this and over that. Over, under, over one strand, under the next, over one, under the next. When you have completed your splice you can either trim off your tails or leave them as decorations. The final touch to make your splice to lay a little thinner is just roll it between your hands. That is an eye splice."
