" Hi! My name is Dan and I’m here with Expert Village. Today we’re going to talk about how to tie an anchor hitch. Take the end of your line, pass it through a steel loop, wrap around twice, and with your tail, feed through the loop and make it off with a half hitch. It’s a self tightening knot, and it’s very strong: it’s used for mooring boats, hence anchor hitch. I’ll tie it one more time…take your tail, feed it through your loop, feed it through one more time, then wrap around and through, an anchor hitch."
