" Hi! My name is Dan, and I am here with Expert Village today to talk to you a little bit about climbing harnesses. Many harnesses will come in a nice little carry case, which is especially useful at the end of the climbing day, because you can put your harness into it and hang it up in the closet and it will air dry. Before buying a harness, you want to try it on. You want to assure that it is not too big or too small. So in order to put on a harness, you want to extend the leg loops as far as they will go, or close to it anyways, and undo the waist belt, and you step through and bring all the harness material up, up above your iliac crest, the top of your hip bones. Before tightening the leg loops, you want to make sure that your waist belt is on correctly. You are going to feed it through this little ring and go up through the top, follow that down and through and adjust to the required tightness."
