" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to tie a bowline on a bight. This could be useful knot for camping if you need to make two fixed loops. For example if you need to dry a pair of boots or a pair of gloves over the fire. Again by taking a bight of you rope or having a little bend in it. Make a simple overhand knot. Next take the loop form at the end of the overhand knot and fold it over and around the whole knot. Then pull the two ends to form a loop. Then you would have two fixed loops and a bowline which like its counterpart the standard bowline is very easy to untie. I can tie it for you one more time. Make your overhand knot and feed your loop or bight through the center. Bring the loop up over and pull these two ends and that forms your bowline. Before tighting your knot the two loops are adjustable. So if you need one loop bigger then the other simply adjust to the desire size. Now you have two fixed loops of different sizes and that is the bowline of a bight."
