"Alright so care and maintenance of the gun can easily be done by taking it apart. It can be done quite simply by taking off your barrel, taking off your pump. What I like to do is take this off and clean it off real well, clean it up and lube it up so it doesn't jam or run into any faulty way on the way back. Just as easily as it came off it comes right back on. Also the trigger mechanism can come out and be cleaned and lubed as well. This with a couple of quick movements can be slid right back in, the barrel can come back on and you have got your gun working again. That is how quickly you can field dress one of these shotguns if anything becomes obstructed. When you are cleaning your gun some of the most important places to clean are grooves. This piece right here is used to expel the shotgun shell once you pull it back. Keeping this lubed up and getting all the powder out of it is really important. The same holds true for your trigger mechanism as that power seems to go everywhere. Once it is burnt up it needs to be cleaned and a good or high quality can be used to do that and it prevents it from rusting. Even putting it in the barrel is important."
