"Choosing a shotgun is really all about personal preference and the amount of money you're willing to spend. On a shotgun like this Remington 870 Express, you won't be looking to pay a lot of money, but you are, and while it's an extremely dependable gun, you're not getting, you won't be getting the bells and whistles that you may be getting on other shotguns. As you can tell this is a pump shotgun. Unlike other shotguns that have come out nowadays that are semi-automatic and, or actually have recoil just like semi-, or not recoil but refurbish a new, a new shell into the barrel just like a semi-automatic rifle or pistol, but it's personal preference for me. I really enjoy this gun. I've had it forever and while it looks tarnished and worn and beaten up, this gun has been dropped in the lake, dropped in the mud, cleaned out and it has been good to go. It can be field dressed in a matter of seconds. I can have this gun taken apart, in, you know, every piece in a matter of, not a matter of seconds, but probably under a minute and have this thing completely apart. So choosing a gun for reliability is also important and this gun is extremely reliable."
