Hi. My name is Dan Schmidt from the Chinese Martial Arts Center. And, today we're going to be showing you how to perform a proper inside crescent kick. Ok. So, this kick for practice you can start feet about shoulder width apart and your hands out to the side. You're going to be kicking the rear leg to the front hand. Ok. So, you're here. You could step out, swing the leg straight up and over straight to the hand. Ok. So, you're here. Step out, hands out. Pick up the leg and over. Ok. If you notice the slapping, it's because you want to hit with the bottom of your foot to your hand. Ok. This is because you're using this as a target to grab someone’s head and also to strengthen your hand for other attacks. Ok. So, what you want to do again. Step out, hands out. Pick up the leg and kick. Ok. From this angle. Ok. So, he steps out. Pick up the legs, swing over. Ok. And, as you can see it's a circular action. Ok. You want to make sure you turn your hips.
