"What am going to do here right quick is show you how to basically set up your reel. First to give you the basics you would attach your reel and pull your line, your loop your line, such as what I'm doing right now, you put it through the eye lids. The purpose of this is if you release or drop your line int catches it so it would not fall all the way through. So it is a nice little trick to feed your line through the eye lids. So if you do drop it you would not have to go over it and do it again. Which a lot of people do but this really saves you time when you are in the river. We are putting our floating line. The floating line is the colored line in front of me and attached to the floating line is the leader. Typically the leader is a nine feet in length. We attach our fly to the end of the leader. "
