"This next stretch is called the hands behind the head stretch, and what we want to do is we want to stretch the back side of our arm. And as we're stretching, you should feel tightness, and keep it back there. Pull on your elbow and really stretch the back of your arm. This here gets your arms loose, specifically for passing the basketball. Anything you do with your arms creates a lot of energy, and that energy can really create a lot of stress on your muscles, so you want to make sure you stretch them out really good. Pull that elbow back. Take your hand and place it in the middle of your back, and really stretch it out. This is a great stretch--great stretch. And now, we're going to stretch our--shake it out--stretch our left side now. Your hands--make sure they're in the middle of your back--pull your elbow down, and you should really feel it in the back of your arm. And so, as you can see, my hand is in the middle of my back, I'm stretching, and I might even pull a little bit and stretch to the side. Your ribcage, your love handles, that sort of thing. Stretch it out really well. And this really works. And you really want to take the time to stretch. Again, it is injury prevention, and technically, it gives you longevity in your career, basically in whatever sport you play, but specifically in professional basketball. You really want to stretch your muscles, and you will be surprised at how great you feel after you stretch. Stretch it out. And remember, the key to stretching is injury prevention. Pull on it, shake it out, shake it out, and you might want to go to the right side again. Just briefly, not as long. You want to pull on the stretch, pull on your side, your ribcage a little bit, shake it out. Stretch the left side again. And shake it out. And that is behind the back stretching, and excellent."
