"Hi. I'm Cole with Expert Village and I'm going to be talking about some of the effects pressure can have on the human body. Water, like everything else, has weight. And that weight causes it to exert pressure on objects within the water. Now, most of our bodies are made out of water, so unaffected. However, we do have air space. The most common one that people actually feel the pressure in is their ears. So, how we equalize the pressure in our ears so we don't have any pain or discomfort is you plug your nose, and gently blow into it, causing your ears to pop or squeak. I don't, you don't want to be like, plugging it and forcefully blowing really hard because you can cause ear damage. You just want to gently blow into it. That's the way you want to equalize your ears and compensate for the pressure."
