"Hi, I’m Chris Van Londen and on behalf of Expert Village I will be talking about cooling down. After a nice hike like that I always like to put on a fresh shirt because the shirt you have been wearing is going to be sweaty and maybe a little smelly. That way if I get out on the road and I have a nice fresh shirt on it’s good to keep a little cooler in the car too and get out a nice fresh drink when you are done. Ah, nothing like a cool drink after a nice long hard hike. It is a good idea _____ your muscles after a long hike and muscles are going to be tired. They are going to be tense. A good idea to do some stretching before you take off in the car driving. Simple stretches like this are good. Doesn’t need to be anything fancy. Yes, that’s nice. Ah, I could feel the tension in my leg and that should help. Ah, it’s nice. Finally, get some other shoes on; don’t keep your hiking boots on. I prefer in the summer if it is nice weather, to take my boots off and put on my sandals. It gives my feet a chance to aureate and to reconstitute themselves. "
