"A couple of things about scopes and what is really important and a couple of things to consider is if you are not using your scope always keep these caps to your scopes on to prevent any debris or any dust getting into the glass. I will show you this side of the gun so I am not point at you. It is high quality glass that needs to be taken care of. Any kind of oils or dust that gets in there can damage the scope and pretty much make it a miserable hunt if you make it that far and your scope is not working on you. The difference between a scope like this and other methods of aiming are that this right here you are using crosshairs that you have to look through and set up which is great for accuracy but it takes more time to set up for that shot. Another option which is not on this gun is called iron sight where you have got a pin on the front and a bead right here on the back. While that is not nearly as accurate for long shots, it is quick on the draw where you can pull that gun up and find out what you need to shoot and shoot on the run as well."
