"All right, keeping your rifle in good shape is really important. We'll just start off with the scope, keeping our lenses clean. If any--you don't ever want to touch it with your fingers or any part of your body, because you'll leave an oil on it which will damage the glass. The bolt should regularly be cleaned, and that can be easily taken out with a couple of easy steps. Your magazine right here, where these shells go, should be kept clean and well lubed as well. The barrel of the rifle is also something that you should always check before you shoot--before you go out shooting. Keeping your gun clean is extremely important. Even a cobweb in your gun can cause it to explode. Any kind of obstruction in your barrel, when you've got a speeding bullet passing through it, can cause serious damage and even death. So, maintaining it and keeping it well lubed, well cleaned is extremely important."
