"When you're holding a rifle, as I've said before, the rifle should always be pointing up or pointing down to the ground, ok? When you're holding it, you can have it up against your body keeping it close to your body while you're walking through the woods and even have your hand covering the trigger guard like this to prevent from any sticks or anything while you're walking through the woods from catching it. Now remember the safety right here when it’s on, even though there's no bullet in here, I'm going to show you for the intents and purposes. With the safety on, the trigger mechanism won't work, but it is a mechanical device and it can fail, so it’s always a good idea to keep you hand over that trigger guard especially when walking through the woods. Even when I'm holding it like this, it becomes second hand nature just to hold it like this and it keeps so that nothing can go get inside that trigger guard and cause an accident to happen. Even with the even it were in the air and this thing to go off all my leg like this, this gun is so powerful I'd probably have a black and blue bruise right here on my leg. So holding a gun, cradling it right here on the stock, keeping your hand on the butt, anyway to keep it comfortable will also keep it safe at the same time."
