"Hi, my name is Chad. We’re talking about rifle and pistol shooting today, and I’m going to talk a little bit about ammunition for rifles and why you might choose a specific rifle over another. Basically the difference is in size and power. Rifles go as small as this 22 long rifle- actually, even smaller; they have a 17 round- which means it .22 an inch in diameter. Very small; this is the most prolific round in the world, and used for target shooting, clinking, and hunting. Very cheap to shoot, a great practice round, almost no recoil. A more intermediate cartridge would be this one. It’s a 308 or 762 NATO. It’s used in semi-automatic rifles, very popular in hunting bolt action rifles. Very accurate in target shooting. It’s one of the most prolific rounds in the world, but it’s an intermediate round- in comparison to this, it’s huge, but actually, for a hunting round it’s just average to under average these days, as far as power and size goes. Stepping out further would be this case, which is the 375 H and H case. You can see the difference between these. 22 being very small, 308 being in the middle, and the 375 being really quite large, and there’s yet larger still. And this round is to be used for hunting anywhere in the world for anything in the world. It’s for dangerous game, to protect yourself. For taking the largest animals and the most dangerous animals in the world. Shoots a very large bullet. So that’s basically the differences for the ammunitions that are available for rifles. It’s the size of the bullet in diameter, and how much it ways and how fast it goes "
