How to Point a BB Gun

"CHRISTOPHER HOWELL: Hi. My name is Christopher Howell. I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to demonstrate on how to use a pellet, aka BB gun, on how to use it and maintain it. Always point it down if you're going to face at anyone, or point it directly up. But never point the barrel directly at anyone no matter what the situation or the circumstances are. The first thing I like to check for in any weapon is the safety. "S" stands for safety. If the safety is on, then you know you're okay. If you ever see the red on any type of weapon, that usually indicates "fire." And usually you gotta cover the safety all the way up, but sometimes you never know--it could misfire or anything. So "F" is for fire, "S" is for safety. Now, if you see the red dot on there, it is armed, it is activated...and safety."
