"In this clip we're going to be going over how to do forward spins. OK, with extreme kamas you can do a lot of spins so first one's going to look like this. One, two. OK, you can keep it going. Bam, that's going to be a forward spin. So let's go ahead and break that down. Alright, so you're going to take your kama and you're going to hold it you know right in that good position you need. OK, now with your thumb and your first finger you're going to pinch it. OK, so from here, with your fingers here you're going to push it and spin it in a circle so push real slow, come up, and come around. Now an easy way to learn that is to hold it at the very bottom, come here, high five, come around and say hi, and then flip it around. Now you can see my kama flipped over, that's what you don't want to do. You want to keep it nice and tight so it's facing the same direction. So when you come around, turn here, open, and here, around. Now make sure you don't hit your arm, you want to brush it right inside the arm. The closer you to your arm, the better. OK let's get a front view. From here, drop and open, come around and say hi, and grab it again. So once you've got it there, go ahead and practice back in this position. You grab it, push around, hi, or high five, hi, grab. One, two. OK, now you want to make sure, you see my arm, my whole arm's not moving and throwing it into it. You want to make sure you keep your hand, arm still and just use your wrist to spin. Once you get it, try to spin it a few times without stopping. Keep your arm still, bam, all the way to a chop. And that is going to be how to spin your kama."
