"Hi my name is Caleb Labarda and I'm a third degree black belt with Expert Village and today I am going to be teaching you how to do a 540. So now it is time to teach you how to do a 540. You must have all the stuff down first. You must have your round kick down and the jumping of your foot, jumping over your knee. You have to have all the steps down so you can go into your tornado kick. Now let me show you the difference between the tornado kick and a 540. With the tornado kick you are going to be jumping on that leg, kicking with it, and landing on that bottom leg and going around. With the 540 you are going to be jumping off the bottom leg, kicking with it and landing on it. Now for when you kick with your 540 you don't kick from all the way over here you want to kick from about here at two o'clock all the way around to about nine o'clock. That far, all the way from two o'clock to nine o'clock. That's the way the kick should be. With the tornado kick it should be from about three o'clock. It is going to be a lot wider. 540 is going to be shorter, you are going to kick and whip it around. So in the air when you go into a 540, wind up, bam, o'kay and that's going to be your 540. All the way back around, notice how I said all the way back around when facing my target."
