"Hi! I’m Calab Labarda with Tae Kwon Do Limited on behalf of expertvillage.com. Check at our website at tkdarizona.com. Today we’re going to have our kids warm-up, they are going to be getting some aerial stunt maneuvers and we are going to practice on doing some things they did earlier, and trying to get better. This class you are watching out here is a competition class and this what they do in their training, so right now they are getting ready for warm-up exercises. They are not wearing their full uniforms because they really practice in T-shirts and karate pants so that they can have lots of movement and lots of flexibility when practicing some moves. So this stretching here is called straddle. This is a good basic stretch to do, just with both legs out, toes pointed out with your legs locked and just stretching and reaching as hard as you can. And this is very important to do the warm-up the stretches, warm-up first, get your muscles loose and then start stretching and get your muscles up, really worked out, really warmed up. So you don’t pull your muscle or anything and it is good to do a variety of stretches, do each stretch for about 30 seconds on each side and some more harder stretches, more ones that reaches your muscles, do that for close to a minute each. It’s good, take deep slow breaths, relaxing your muscles and getting them warmed up and then after that you should be ready to go and have a fun. Good luck training."
