"CALAB LABARDA: Oh, hi. My name is Calab Labarda, I'm a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. I'm here with Expert Village, and today, I'm going to teach you how to use speed chucks. Okay. Now, we're going to take our wrist spin and get a little more advanced with it instead of just doing side or straight in front of you just like this. Okay, we're going to practice doing it from the side, okay? Now, you're going to actually have to start building up some momentum to get that nunchuck going, to get around the wrist, okay? 'Cause if you do it too slow, it will fall right off the wrist, just like that, okay? You gotta get faster from side to side. Like one, two, okay? So, in order to warm up to get it, just go with the sides like one, two, one, two, one, two, now if you get it, give it a good spin and spin it, spin, spin. Okay, now, your hand will move up and down the nunchuck as you grab it 'cause sometimes it's slippery, okay? And that's fine. When we do it, you gotta be able to make sure you throw your hand all the way back around, so here, I'll hold it low, I'll hold it real low, you gotta be able to spin it back around and catch it right on the right spot; one thumbing from the top and back over, okay? So, that's just with practice and experience, okay? So, over here, one, side to side, two, one, two. Okay, now, let's put it together if with our L strike. From here, L strike. Okay, strike him across, one, two, back up, strike. One, two, okay? And that's going to really enhance the L strike and make it look fancy and neat instead of just doing this the whole time, okay? And get into it, spin, you can throw an X in there and then across, one, two, just like that. And that's going to be your side to side wrist spin."
