"CALAB LABARDA: Oh, hi. My name is Calab Labarda, I'm a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. I'm here with Expert Village, and today, I'm going to teach you how to use speed chucks. Okay, so another cool move that you do is being able to use both hands with your nunchucks, okay. You don't want to just stay here and just use one hand the whole time, okay. So a cool way to switch is to have them like this. That's going to look silly, right? Okay, so you want to go over and do--what I'd like to call is switch-ups. Or you've seen Bruce Lee do it a bunch of times in his movie. You go underneath the arm, grab, switch, underneath the arm, switch, switch, switch, alright. So let's go ahead and break that down. So from here, make sure you're holding it correctly, thumbing from the top, okay. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to hold it correctly, if I see so many people holding it incorrectly, and they just look horrible with their nunchucks, okay. So hold it one thumbing from top, okay. Go over your shoulder, okay. Reach underneath, my hands are going to come across my stomach, grab, okay, and pull it back out. Now, you notice my hand doesn't have one thumbing from the top, okay. Now from here, I'm just going to keep my hand right where it is and really reach under, grab it, and pull it back out. Okay. And just start doing skip practice. Stand in front of a mirror. Watch yourself good. Look real sharp. Try to look silly, okay. And now, that's called your basic switch-up. So you put together, one, two, three, so follow-up with one, catch one, two, okay. And then, ends up back to the right hand, one thumbing from the top and a catch."
