"CALAB LABARDA: Oh, hi. My name is Calab Labarda, I'm a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. I'm here with Expert Village, and today, I'm going to teach you how to use speed chucks. Alright now, we're going to go over your up and down spins, going from top to bottom, okay. Now, there's a bunch of different ways to do this, okay, and it seems easy, just spin it top to bottom, okay, but you gotta make it look good. You gotta make it look sharp 'cause these are also strikes, strike one, come back up, two, okay. So first off, make sure you're holding it, one thumbing from the top, okay. Once you got that, make sure you're pinching it nice and tight. Don't let your nunchuck go, okay, and fly, and hit somebody. Alright, so from here, put you're going to put nunchuck on your shoulder, okay. You want to spin down, one, spin back up, one, two, okay. So, just do one spin for now, one spin, okay, just back up, one spin. Okay, one more time, one down, one up okay. So now, you could add these other strikes, one, two, spin down, spin up, okay, one, two, up, spin down, spin up. Alright, so that's going to be up and down spin. While from the side view, it's going to look like this, one, two. Okay, one, two. Now make sure you don't lose your nunchuck by going way back here like this, okay. You want to come here, and stop it, and come back up, so one, two, okay. Now you see, I sometimes tap the bottom of my arm, one, two, alright. And that's going to be your up and down spin, so together, the L-strike, one, two, one, two, one, two, alright. So practice those two steps first before moving on."
