"CALAB LABARDA: All right. Next, we're going to be going over thumb spins and finger spins, okay? Now, speed chucks aren't great for this because they have a short string, okay? So instead of just going around the wrist, we're going to be using our fingers and thumbs to do the same thing, okay? As you can see here, that's going to be our finger spin, thumb spin, come across, okay? These are really cool. If you get good at it, you can start spinning it through your fingers and make it look like one straight stick all the way to another spin and to a catch, okay? That's going to be more difficult and more advanced. So for our beginner series, we're just going to practice our thumb spins and finger spins. So I'm going to start with one for now, okay? Come across, do a thumb spin, okay? And spin over the wrist. And that's going to be your thumb spin. All right. So from here, thumb spin around, okay? And then spin over the wrist, all the way to a catch. Now, another way to do it is from the top, okay? You're going to go to two strikes or just one strike down. One, two, always at the bottom. Now, throw all of your thumbs, spin it, catch, flip over. You should be upside down now. Spin it over your fingers, okay? So your fingers are going to be on top, spin around the fingers, all the way to a catch. So once again, one, thumbs, fingers, okay? Now, it's going to take a lot of practice. These ones are hard. You will drop it a bunch of times. One, down, thumb, catch, finger, okay? So with just one nunchuck, okay? Practice both, it's easier at the same time. So one, down, thumb, finger, back up to the shoulder or to a catch, all right? And that's going to be your thumb and finger spin. You can do this one, keep this one moving, come out and across, okay? Come here, down, finger, and then--I mean, thumb and then finger, got it? Okay? Those are going to look really cool but they take a lot of practice, and you will drop it a lot of times so have fun practicing that one."
