"CALAB LABARDA: All right. Now, a great exercise to do with your X's is being able to train your brain to do more than one thing, right? Okay. So let's go ahead and do this. Take your left hand, put your nunchuck on your shoulder, other hand down, just relax it, okay? And just like going back and forth, just like this, okay? Back and forth, hit, side to side. That's all we're doing, up and down. Now the next one, put your hand out like this and throw to an X, okay? See now, what I'm doing is I'm training my right hand to do X's. My left hand is going up and down and I'm talking and thinking about what I'm doing at the same time. So I'm doing three things at once, okay? And then now, I'm going to switch, okay? And keep this motion going. It's important to train both sides of your brain to do two different things at once. And then switch. And now as you start getting it, switch every time, okay? If you're having a hard time, just start with your X's, face forward, just like that, all right? Once you get that going, this is the hardest part, the X, okay? Then you go to here, up and down with the other one, and let's stand sideways because this is an offensive move from here, okay? So in this one, it will be right here. This will be a strike. Strike and switch, okay? Strike and switch, strike, switch, okay? When I switch, watch this. I'm going X. This one is going up and down. This one comes at top. As this one comes around, it's going to go down, hit underneath. This one is going to come out strike and switch. Keep it going, okay? This one does take a little more practice to get but it will help you become more advanced at your nunchucks and train your body once again to do two different things at once."
