"CALAB LABARDA: All right. Now, we're going to be going over what's called your figure eights or X's. Okay. So now, to begin this, you should know how to do with one single nunchuck a regular X, okay? And it's going to look like this. Let's break it down. Come up, come down, okay? Just like you are rowing a boat. Come down, one side; come all the way up, other side. One, two, three, four, okay? This is a great offensive move if you're attacking or a great defensive move if you want to protect yourself, okay? So now, putting it together, you want to be able to do really close and tight X's with one. Now, as you get good, throw the other one in there, using two, okay? So these are going to be your X's with both hands, okay? So always train your left hand as good as your right, okay? All right, as I'm doing my X's, I'm going to start--keep them synchronized, go forward and X. If one messes up, say it's come over here and one messes up, and it's hanging down here, go ahead and get it back in motion and go, okay? Go slow at first and then put them together. Now, it looks really neat. You can either go out big like this, okay? This is what you'll look like if you're kind of an amateur but as you get good, you'll have nice tight X's, okay? And then go ahead and start your form like I showed in the beginning. X's straight up, all the way to a catch, okay? You can also start when you hit your shoulders--bam--go into your X's. Bring them close in. Boom. Straight punch, okay? And those are going to be your X's and you can do a lot of different things off of those."
