Video Transcript

"Hi, this is Bruce Lessels from Zoar Outdoor for expertvillage.com talking about camping. So when you’re deciding when and where to go camping, there are a bunch of things that come into play. The first is if it’s your first time camping you want to make sure that where you’re going has a lot of attractions, a lot of things to do in the area. You might want to go to a place that has swimming, that has hiking, that has other sorts of attractions for you. You also probably want to go camping at a place where there’s already some facilities setup, so you’re not entirely setting up your own facility or determining your own campsite at first and there it may help to go to a State Forest or a State Park where they might have campsites designated for you. The other considerations in camping are what the weather’s going to be like, if the weather is going to be nice and sunny for the weekend or if it looks like its going to be a decent weekend, you don’t have to bring as much warm stuff. But if it looks like its going to be questionable weather then you might want to reconsider whether it’s a good first time camping experience or not but either way once you decide where you’re going to go camping and what the conditions are going to be like, that’ll determine what you want to bring on your camping trip."
