"Another option besides repellents, will be mosquito netting and they make head nets and actually they make full suits out of them. One thing you need to know about the mosquito netting, is that it needs to really stay off your skin. If you have a mosquito repellent, mosquito jacket, if that mesh touches your skin, the mosquitos have a proboscis that's long enough to reach in there and get you. So, it really needs to balloon out and not touch you. With head nets, there's another dynamic that you need to think of and, that's the color of the netting. With this one, you can probably see my face and I can see relatively well outside. But, you head to one that's a little lighter in color, you can't see me and I definitely can't see with the lights hitting this. Light hitting netting like this, bounces all over the place and makes it hard to see. So, actually a darker net is easier to see through. If you have any questions about protecting yourself from mosquitos, give your local outfitter a holler."
