Hi! my name is Brandon and I work at BC Surf-n-Sport here in Coral Springs, Florida. You can find us on the web at www.bcsurf.com. I am going to welcome you and today I am going to show you some basic skateboard tricks. First off you want to learn how to stand on the board, basically you just want to have your feet over the bolts at all times and kind of just learn how to balance yourself by just standing on it and like a standard position. You don’t want to be moving, so you can get the feel of the board, after you basically accomplish this you want to start to learn how to push, you always want to make sure that your front foot is over your boards and your back foot is near the back wheel. If your front foot is in the back part of the skate board, you won't be able to control, your boards going to swerve like this all over the place, you wont be able to have any control at all. So, what you want to do is you want to have your front foot over your boards, and kind of take it one step at a time by giving a small little push, and get your back foot over the back part of your bolts.
