"In this section, I'm going to be giving you a run-through on picking out bindings, specifically for your free style ski. A lot of the ski companies and bindings companies make bindings that are geared towards free style skiing. And it's better that you towards that because these bindings, they're not going to be like race bindings where they won't let your foot come out if you take a really bad crash. But they're not like really cheap recreational bindings where they're going to be popping off prematurely. And if you're landing improperly and stuff, they're not going to be breaking because they're made out of really strong materials in order to take the necessary wear and tear that happens during free style skiing. So as you'll notice here on these skis, as opposed to a snowboard, there's no pre-drilled holes. Because of this, when you're picking out bindings and having bindings put onto the skis, you need to go to your shop because they have the necessary tools to be able to put the bindings on with you boots and fit them properly on the ski. Because once your bindings are set, your bindings are set. There's no moving them back and forth. You can slide them up and down a little bit, but it's only usually like a quarter of an inch to a half an inch forward and backward. So you're definitely going to want to go to your shop, check out what they have to offer, and talk to them about what's the proper binding for the type of skiing that you're going to be doing. And if you're going to be doing free style skiing, you definitely want to tell them that, just so they can set it up in the proper position. You don't want them too far back. A lot of people put them right in the center now days. So like I said before, talk to the people at your shop because they're going to be set once these bindings are set in there because they are drilled into the actual ski as opposed to snowboard binding, you can switch and move around as you please. And that's pretty much the run-though on how to go through and pick out a free style skiing binding."
