"Alright, hi, I'm Bobby Larew. Right now, what we're going to talk about are safe distances you'll need when you dive. We talked about inspecting your board, inspection your frame and stand. Now we want to talk about inspecting the surrounding areas of your boar, because for some of you, you might start bouncing and get a little out of control, and start going places that you never thought you would go. So, what is a safe distance in diving? First, from the back of the board, you should have at least eight feet to the next structure. So, if there was a wall here, if there was some kind of stands for fans to sit in, you want to make sure you've got eight feet from the back of the board to there. On the sides, you also want to make sure that you have eight feet from the side to any nearest structure. On this other side, we want to make sure we have eight feet to the next board. When you're in the water, you want to make sure there's eight feet from the end of the board, in the middle, to the side of the pool. If there's not eight feet, you could go off and land actually on the side of the pool. Above you, you want to make sure you have at least fifteen feet of clear space. And then going out in to the water, you want to make sure you have at least sixteen feet. Those are some of the different distances you should be aware of when you dive."
