"Hey, how you doing? Bobby Larew your expert on diving; expert on reverse dive pike. If you're with me so far, we just talked about what a good nice tight pike looks like. Now when you're up in the air and you get into a good pike, you’ve got to know how to come out of it in order to make the dive look good. Right now I want to talk to you about the upper body and what do you do with the upper body when you come out of your pike. I'm going to get back down on the ground again for you. We've just touched our toes in the pike, o.k. From this position my fingers and hands are going to be extended, my arms are going to be straight. First thing I'm going to do as I touch and come out with the upper body; is you begin to lean back so I can unfold from my pike position. As I leaning back I'm bringing my arms down out and to the side, alright. Imagine touching from here and coming out, a straight line; and you're kind of making like a triangle, o.k. The motion of my hands to the finish position, to my arm extension; down to my legs, should be a triangle position. So this is what my upper body, my arms are doing when I kick out; watch. And that's it for your upper body."
