"Alright, welcome back I'm Bobby Larew. We just talked about how to use your arms and your head position when you're taking off on the board. Now we need to talk about the rest of your body ok? When you're on the end of the board ok? Your arms are up by your ear, you're getting ready to push off. The proper position for your legs and your body is this. With my legs I'm pushing and extending, see how that I'm up off on my toes? Off the heels? I'm up on my toes k? I'm not slouching and leaning back ok? I know how my knees bent, I'm extended and I'm reaching up. Also very important with your body is where your hips are in this dive. A lot of times people like to start by pushing their hips out k? It's not proper position for a reverse dive. When you push your hips out to term a dive and called hipping a dive. When you hip a dive that's really dangerous, you can come back into the board even hit the board ok? So your legs and upper body, when you push up off the board, legs extended, hips underneath of you, don't push them out and that's the correct position to be in."
