"Hi I'm Andrew Bridden I'm here on behalf of expertvillage.com we are at the Arizona Center of Mixed Martial Arts I'm a fighter here and Rob Garcia is our head Muay Thai kick boxing instructor. The technique we are going to show you guys today is going to be escaping the clinch. So I got the clinch a solid clinch on Rob which I got the proper hand position, my elbows are squeeze together, and I'm letting knees to his body. You know all kind of things like that and the way Rob is going to get out of here is he is either going to try to swim to try to improve his Thai position like that. By swimming I just mean working through like that to regain and he would do the same to me. So this is constance struggle between the two of us to get the upper hand in the positioning. Another thing Rob could do is my knees are only effective if I have the angle to my body and I could get the power. So if Rob could clinch around my waist and stand me up straight I can't deliver anything from here power wise. So it effectively takes my ability to do damage to him away. So there is different drills that you could do improve your position. Were we just give a little spar just to get a better Thai clinch. Like so and again by improving your position your enabling yourself to avoid taking damage and to do damage to your opponent. "
